Current: The Architect’s Newspaper (New York, NY)

Managing Editor: Manage the entire editorial process of monthly newspaper and special editions (14 per year). Create the editorial schedule and track manuscripts and images from concept to production. Coordinate the creative team across three offices to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Prepare and monitor monthly and annual budgets and approve expenses and invoices. Work with marketing team to produce media kits and issue descriptions. Hire and oversee editors, interns, and freelancers. Write, edit, fact check, and copy edit articles for print and online.

Freelance: Contribute articles to Wallpaper* and Of a Kind. Brand and copy writing consultant for Bokeh, a creative agency, working with clients such as Airbnb and Google. 

October 2014 to September 2015: ALOHA (New York, NY)

Content Manager: Conceived and managed editorial calendar to achieve the brand’s digital goals; led a team of contributing editors, writers, experts, and photographers to provide content across media platforms; facilitated website redesign and content migration.

Managing Editor: Facilitated the content flow of the magazine: prepared and tracked all stages of manuscripts, liaised between the art, editorial, and production teams in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco; ensured timely, on-budget delivery of the magazine, forecasted issue costs and met annual budget goals; mentored editorial assistant and interns; contributed to social media platforms; and blogged for dwell.com daily.
